·      Here are your quick email points for Monday, June 19th, 2017. Parents, please note that today is the last day of school and students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM today.  Report cards will come home in your child’s backpacks.

·      Thank you to all of our families who helped out or were in attendance for our Grade 6 Promotion Night.  It was a great evening.


·      This summer, Valley Regional High School will welcome 30 high school students from China to participate in an American high school summer camp experience.  We are continuing to look for host families in our area who would be willing to welcome these students into their homes.  The students from China arrive on Sunday, July 16 at 7:00pm and will depart on Saturday, July 29 at approximately 12 noon.   These students will participate in a summer camp Monday -Friday, 7/17-7/28.  Host families will receive a $200 stipend per student.

·      Please don’t forget that if you have any overdue library books to be sure to look for them over the weekend and get them to Mrs. Schaedler as soon as possible.


·      Please be sure to pay all unpaid lunch balances.  We appreciate your support in helping to keep our negative lunch balances down.


·      Finally, once again I would like to thank our school community for another incredible year.  We believe that our work with our DRES students is a team effort that could not be done without our parents.  Thank you all for your continued support of the school and helping to ensure an outstanding educational experience for our children.
