Third graders are developing into more fluent writers.  We’ll work on both fiction and non-fiction writing this year. 

Students will be:

-Using a Writer’s Notebook

-Writing to parents in a Family Message Journal

-Writing in various non-fiction formats as a part of our science and social studies curriculum 
-Composing and Exploring poetry
-Learning the important process of revision in improving their written pieces
-Publishing their stores in various formats
